Prior to joining Lancor, Karen spent six years at Heidrick & Struggles, including two years in Brussels, two in London and two in Tokyo. While she was in Tokyo, Karen joined Daijob.com as Manager of Consulting Services and spent a year as part of the start-up team of this Japanese online recruitment firm.

Karen holds a master’s degree in applied economic sciences from the University of Antwerp, a postgraduate degree in art and cultural management from the Catholic University of Leuven, and an MBA from the Xavier Institute of Management at Bhubaneshwar in India. Karen speaks Dutch, French and some Japanese.
