Lancor’s approach to search begins with the premise that each client’s needs are specific and no two situations are identical. Accordingly, Lancor begins every engagement with an in-depth discovery process in order to develop a comprehensive understanding of the client’s business, the issues it faces, the personalities and relationships that shape it, and the values and qualities that give it identity.

 

At Lancor, we believe in staffing all search engagements with two Partners, a Consultant and dedicated research support.  The structure and discipline with which Lancor works ensures a defined  strategy for approaching the market, targeting potential candidates according to industry sector, functional expertise, exposure to key issues, geography, or any combination of the above.

 

Lancor believes that regular, formal and informal communication is vital to an efficient and successful search. Depending on client preferences, Lancor conducts a weekly or bi-weekly search status review of each project, for which either a written report is prepared in advance, or clients are provided with search-specific login details to our online client portal where they can track our search progress in real time.  Prior to meeting candidates, clients receive detailed written appraisals, assessing each candidate clearly against the specification.

 

Throughout the interview process, Lancor manages the feedback from clients and candidates carefully, and once a finalist is chosen, assists in the offer negotiation and conducts further, formal referencing. After each search is completed, Lancor maintains close contact with both the client and candidate, working to ensure the candidate’s successful integration.
